Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

About the Role

Army Residence Community is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our Health Care team. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing daily care and support to our residents, including retired military officers and their spouses, in a respectful and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

  • Take and record vital signs

  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises

  • Observe and report any changes in residents' condition or behavior

  • Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and ensure a safe environment

  • Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner

  • Follow all infection control and safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Current Texas CNA certification (Required)

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is a plus

  • Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and team members

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening in accordance with state regulations

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching

  • Ability to respond quickly to resident needs and emergencies
