Position Summary:
Valor Healthcare is looking for licensed psychologists conduct in-person psychological evaluations of candidates for the Forest Ranger program to support the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), Office of Public Protection (OPP). This is a short term contract position working as a 1099 independent contractor.

This job is CONTINGENT upon contract award, client approval, completion of a favorable background investigation, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust / High Risk clearance.

Position Summary:
Valor Healthcare is looking for licensed psychologists conduct in-person psychological evaluations of candidates for the Forest Ranger program to support the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), Office of Public Protection (OPP). This is a short term contract position working as a 1099 independent contractor.
Responsibilities
- Must have excellent writing skills, with the ability to translate sound clinical judgment into clear and appropriate recommendations for initial or continued employment.
- Complete and submit all required documentation expeditiously and accurately in the required format.
- Provide in-person evaluations.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- PsyD or PhD from an accredited doctoral program.
- Must have a valid and unrestricted NY state license.
- Must have at least three (3) years of prior experience in assessing the suitability of candidates for employment as police officers/law enforcement.
- Experienced in one or more Electronic Health Records
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams)
- Must be a US citizen and reside in the United States.
