Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in providing support and resources to individuals and families facing various challenges. This position requires a strong commitment to advocacy, mental health, and community engagement. The Social Worker will work closely with clients to assess their needs, develop treatment plans, and connect them with appropriate services.

Duties

• Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
• Provide counseling and support in areas such as behavioral health, addiction counseling, and crisis management.
• Supervise case management activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including Medicare and Section 8 guidelines.
• Collaborate with community organizations to facilitate access to resources for clients.
• Mentor clients through workforce development initiatives, helping them build skills for employment.
• Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their personal growth and decision-making processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and case files.

Experience

• A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure is preferred.
• Experience in child welfare or behavioral health settings is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to supervise staff or interns effectively.
• Familiarity with crisis management strategies and addiction counseling practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
• Experience in mentoring individuals from various backgrounds is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
