Help Us Build a Better Way.
This isn’t just a job, it’s a first-of-its-kind opportunity.
As our Founding BCBA, you’ll be the first clinician to join Element Behavioral Health. You’ll help shape our clinical foundation, influence culture from the ground up, and play a key role in creating the kind of workplace you’ve always wished existed.
We know the burnout is real.
30+ billable hour expectations. Admin overload. Little to no support.
It’s driving good BCBAs out of the field.
We’re here to change that.
Our outlook is simple: take care of our clinicians so they can take care of our mission- Embracing Neurodiversity and Redefining ABA,
Why You'll Love Working at Element
· Founding role with real influence and future growth potential
· Max of 27 billable hours per week
· Smaller caseloads, by design- Because you provide a portion of direct care, your caseload stays manageable and your impact stays high.
· Admin-free model: We take non-clinical work off your plate like scheduling, cancellation management, and caregiver communication outside of clinical sessions- so you can focus on what matters most: your clients, your team, and your impact.
· Our approach to care: Progressive. Neuro-affirming. Assent-based. Compassionate. Always.
· Biweekly support meetings (or more if you’d like)- never feel alone in your work
· All RBTs are trained before they see clients, regardless of past experience
· Strong onboarding & clinician training: we train you in our systems and approach from day one
Our Therapy Model
· Play-based, assent-based, client-led, and neuro-affirming
· We support growth, not “fixing”
· No goals for compliance. No suppressing stims. No cookie-cutter care.
· Real-life goals that actually matter to the client and family
· Focused treatment: 10–25 hours per week per client
· Families commit to at least 2 hours of caregiver support per month before we accept them as clients.
What You’ll Actually Do
· Provide direct clinical care (at least 20% of each client’s weekly scheduled hours)
· Supervise and support your RBT team (between 15% and 20% of each client’s weekly scheduled hours)
· Run monthly caregiver meetings
· Write and update client-centered, functional therapy plans
· Track progress, write clear notes, and keep high clinical standards
· Collaborate with families, schools, and community teams
· Make sure your clients feel Happy, Relaxed, and Engaged (HRE)
· As the first BCBA hire, provide feedback to help shape systems and workflows
Compensation
· Ramp Up Pay: $70–$80/hour (per billable)
