Do you want to spend your time in a rewarding setting working with youth and young adults? This on-site position is in a clinic, housed on a Vocational School Campus. You will spend your days working in an integrated healthcare team with professionals who are committed to assisting students in their emotional, mental, spiritual and educational journey toward adulthood. You will act as an independent clinician to assess, treat, recommend and refer students, as needed, for additional care.

Hours: 24 per week. Days and hours per day are flexible within the range of 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities
- Provide mental health counseling to teen youth and young adults.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Implement behavioral therapy techniques to address mental health issues.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current on best practices in mental health counseling and therapy techniques.

Education Requirements

The following education requirements are considered essential:

• Master's Degree in social work or counseling
• Licensed practitioner in the State of Minnesota.
• LMFT, LPCC, LP, LICSW accepted.

Qualifications
- Strong background in mental health counseling
- Proficiency in behavioral therapy and patient assessment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation
- Experience in working with youth and/or young adults with mental health disorders
- Ability to provide crisis intervention and refer as necessary
- Certification in mental health counseling is preferred and MN State licensure required

Must Have's: Must have experience working with youth or young adults, Must have 1 year experience post independent licensure.
