Blazer Jobs is partnering with public school systems across Tennessee to recruit licensed and qualified School Psychologists for the 20252026 academic year. These roles are ideal for professionals committed to improving the academic, emotional, and behavioral well-being of students across a variety of learning environments.
About the Role
As a School Psychologist, you will provide vital assessment, consultation, and support services to help students succeed. You'll work directly with students, teachers, families, and administrators to evaluate learning challenges and develop targeted interventions that promote student growth and school success.
We are actively hiring in districts throughout Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, and neighboring communities.
Responsibilities:
Administer psychoeducational assessments to support eligibility for special education services
Interpret evaluation results and make data-based recommendations for instruction and intervention
Contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans
Provide direct and indirect counseling and mental health support as needed
Collaborate with school-based teams to implement MTSS/RTI frameworks
Participate in student support meetings, IEP meetings, and family consultations
Ensure compliance with Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE) regulations and IDEA mandates
Qualifications:
Educational Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid Tennessee licensure as a School Psychologist issued by the TDOE
Knowledge of RTI, PBIS, and trauma-informed practices is highly preferred
Previous experience in a K12 school setting is advantageous
Must pass all applicable background checks required by Tennessee law and local districts
Position Details:
Opportunities available for full-time and part-time schedules
School-year contract: August 2025 through June 2026
