Please note: Applicants must be available to work shifts scheduled between 3 pm and 8 pm Monday through Friday for this part time position.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician or Autism Therapist to join Mission Momentum ABA. As a member of our team, you will work with individuals, particularly children, who have behavioral and developmental disorders in their homes and community settings. Your role will involve implementing behavioral therapy techniques and documenting progress.

Responsibilities:
- Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to address behavioral and developmental challenges
- Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals with autism spectrum disorder
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation of patient progress and treatment interventions
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions through ongoing data collection and analysis
- Assist the BCBA in the diagnostic evaluation process
- Provide support and guidance to parents and caregivers on implementing behavior management strategies at home

Qualifications:
- A background in Psychology, Pediatric Health, Special Education, or Child Care related field
- A minimum of one year experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities
- Ability to pass a background screening through DCF
- Bachelors Degree Awarded or In Progress Preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate, reliable, patient, and empathetic approach to working with individuals with special needs

- Ability to navigate web based data collection platforms using a tablet or cell phone
