About Job
Provides compassionate, trauma-informed counseling for individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in an outpatient treatment setting. Services may be delivered in person or via telehealth, depending on client needs. Primary responsibilities include conducting client admissions, completing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, developing and updating individualized treatment plans, and delivering individual and group therapy. Opportunities for couples and family counseling may also be available.
Counselors/therapists are responsible for maintaining accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements. In addition to managing a primary caseload, clinicians may support additional clients as needed. The role also involves contributing to staff development and training efforts to support a high standard of care across the team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling or a related field and/or current Florida licensure as LMHC, LMFT, LCSW or a Doctorate degree and current Florida licensure as PsyD, PhD.
MCAP (Certified Addictions Professional) preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS AND REGISTRATIONS:
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Must maintain professional license (training, CEUs)
Must successfully complete current required training requirements of Operation PAR, Inc. within required time frames
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must pass a level II background check and drug screen.
