Job Description


Art Cellar KidzArt is hiring a Van Driver & Aftercare Counselor to join our after-school team. This

dual role includes transporting students safely from school and supporting their afternoon care

at our creative studio. No art experience needed—just a love for working with kids and a

reliable, upbeat attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation (1:30 PM – approx. 2:30 PM):

Safely drive the studio van to 2–3 local schools to pick up students.

Follow a scheduled route and ensure timely arrival at each location.

Complete check-in procedures and ensure all students are accounted for.

Maintain a clean driving record and prioritize student safety at all times.

Aftercare (2:30 PM – 5:30 PM):

Greet students and distribute snacks.

Lead short daily feelings check-in and emotional wellness activity.

Supervise free play in our indoor playroom.

Offer homework help and quiet time support.

Assist the art instructor during the daily project (no art experience needed).


Qualifications


At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Comfortable driving a large passenger van.

Responsible, dependable, and great with kids ages 5–12.

Able to pass a background check.

CPR/First Aid certification is a bonus.
