Responsibilities
A leading hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, has an open Adult Inpatient Psychiatry position.
Join a dynamic team at a leading facility full-time. In your free time, explore Boston's vibrant neighborhoods and community.
About the Position:
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Call: 1 week of backup call every 8-12 weeks
- Facility: Teaching hospital and academic appointment with top US school
- Patient Volume: 6-8 per day
- 24-bed inpatient unit
- Team Structure: Psychiatrist, social worker, medical students, residents
- Must be board-certified

Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health (NIH)
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Active unencumbered MD or DO Psychiarist Massachusetts state license
- Graduate from a fully accredited MD or DO program
- One year of work experience as an Adult Psychiatrist
- One year of EMR experience
- Board Certified

- Participates in relevant continuing education programs.
- Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.
- Ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving expertise.
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude is essential, as is the ability to work independently and interact easily with physicians, other managers, and staff throughout the department and hospital.
- Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational skills, and flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
