Position Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist with specialized experience in trauma therapy to join our multidisciplinary team at the Windy Hill location. The ideal candidate will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals experiencing trauma-related disorders, supporting their journey toward recovery and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with trauma-related mental health concerns.
  • Provide trauma-informed therapy using evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, DBT, or other trauma-specific interventions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical providers, to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with Wellstar policies and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed and engage in community outreach and education about trauma and mental health.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical supervision to enhance skills and stay current on best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field.
  • Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated experience and training in trauma-focused therapy modalities.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred:

  • Certification or advanced training in trauma-specific therapies (e.g., EMDR, Trauma-Focused CBT).
  • Experience working in a hospital or integrated health system setting.
