Are you ready to join a stable, mission-driven clinical team that’s changing lives every day? We're expanding our inpatient services, including detox, short-term residential, and long-term dual-diagnosis care, and seeking committed, compassionate counselors who are ready to grow with us.

Position Summary

We are hiring Inpatient Counselors to provide direct care for clients in our detox and residential treatment programs. Clinicians will carry a manageable caseload and deliver high-quality care through individual, group, and family therapy, along with treatment planning, case management, and documentation. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help stabilize, empower, and restore individuals experiencing substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

We’re Looking For

  • Licensed professionals: LPC, LCSW, or LCADC highly preferred (starting at $60,000+ depending on experience)
  • Emerging clinicians: LAC, LSW, CADC candidates welcome — supervision and growth paths available
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates strongly encouraged to apply
  • Strong documentation skills, including use of KIPU EMR and familiarity with NJSAMS
  • Experience with residential treatment, SUD, and/or co-occurring populations preferred
  • Passion for client-centered, culturally responsive care

Your Role

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to inpatient clients
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries, and referrals
  • Actively participate in case conferences, MDTs, and clinical supervision
  • Coordinate with external agencies, referral sources, and collateral supports
  • Work confidently with de-escalation and crisis intervention as a means to break negative patterns plaguing our clients
  • Work proficiently in NJSAMS, as needed
  • Maintain timely, DMHAS- and CARF-compliant documentation
  • Support development of treatment tracks that reflect diverse cultural and linguistic needs
  • Assist with crisis intervention and care coordination as needed

Schedule Options

  • Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
  • Preferred shifts are daytime, in-person. Can be flexible if candidate prefers afternoon/evening

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary starting at $60,000+, with higher rates for dual licensure and experience
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Supervision toward LCADC or advanced licensure FREE
  • Stable, supportive leadership and collaborative team culture
