Exceptional Wellness, Inc. is a community-based mental health organization committed to supporting individuals and families in achieving lasting emotional wellness. We’re currently seeking a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) to join our growing team and provide compassionate, client-centered care throughout Texas.

This is a flexible role with both full-time and part-time hours available. Clinicians have the freedom to create their own schedules in collaboration with their clients. We strongly value work-life balance and foster a supportive, inclusive team culture where your expertise and input truly matter.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments and evaluate client concerns, strengths, and resources.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
  • Provide counseling using evidence-based and culturally sensitive interventions.
  • Promote healthy coping strategies, self-reflection, and interpersonal growth.
  • Monitor and document treatment progress, symptoms, and client engagement.
  • Adjust therapeutic interventions based on ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain clinical documentation and prepare appropriate referrals when necessary.
  • Engage clients with empathy, warmth, and professionalism throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Educate clients on emotional and financial aspects of treatment when needed.

Requirements:

  • Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related mental health field.
  • Current registration as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in the state of Texas (NO LPC-I).
  • Bilingual
  • ANSA Certification
  • CANS 3-6 Certification
  • CANS 6-17 Certification
  • Reside in Houston, TX
  • Experience in providing direct therapeutic services (supervised experience is acceptable).
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to culturally competent care.
  • Community-oriented and responsive to client diversity.
  • Ability to work independently and travel for community-based services.
