Qualified Social Worker

Location: North West

Pay rate: £39 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Court Team based in North West. The role involves providing an effective child-centred service to children in need of support and protection, contributing to service strategies, policies, and procedures. The position offers flexible working with 3 days in the office.

You will be dedicated to ensuring positive and sustainable outcomes through your interventions, striving to provide the best results for children using best practices. Your passion for supporting children and families will be key to helping them thrive and flourish. Our priority is to protect the most vulnerable and operate efficiently.

Ideal Candidate:

• Registered with Social Work England


• Experienced in working with children and families, including vulnerable groups


• Creative, flexible, and forward-thinking


• Knowledgeable of Child Protection legislation and issues


• Committed to continuous improvement


• Excellent mediation and negotiation skills


• Strong relationship-building skills


• Dedicated to high-quality service delivery


• Experience working in multidisciplinary, interagency environments


• At least 2 years of qualified experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess risks, protection, and social care needs


• Manage an agreed caseload


• Use specialist communication skills to achieve outcomes


• Develop individual care plans promoting dignity and empowerment


• Support and advise unqualified staff and students
