Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, fostering a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on the specific needs and circumstances of each client, facilitating their journey towards healing and resilience.
- Create comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans, empowering clients and promoting stability in their mental health journeys.
- Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning, sharing your expertise to enhance overall client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, maintaining the highest standards of professional responsibility.
- Collaborate with our team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists, to deliver holistic mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- If required, provisional license per state regulations.
- Educational background leading to professional licensing.
- Genuine passion for mental health and a commitment to providing top-notch care.
- Dedication to professional development, including access to free supervision and continuing education.
- Willingness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong adherence to ethical practices and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Capacity to manage time efficiently and complete documentation and administrative tasks promptly.
