A K-12 school in Smyrna, DE is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract position throughout the school year. This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to supporting student development through behavior analysis within an educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working with K-12 students in school environments preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and interventions
- Ability to conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Capacity to collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior support plans for students
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to implement and monitor behavior strategies
- Train and support school personnel in implementing behavior interventions effectively
- Review and interpret behavioral data, making recommendations to improve student outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to comprehensive educational planning
