This full-time, contract position for a School Psychologist runs from September 2, 2025, to June 26, 2026, in Auburn, NY. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' psychological and educational needs.
- Chair Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, facilitating discussions and decisions regarding student support.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on psychological services and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Valid New York State School Psychologist license.
- Experience or training as a CSE/CPSE Chairperson is preferred.
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills in educational psychology.
