Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
- Provide support during community outings and social activities
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and modify treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client sessions and progress
- Follow all ethical guidelines and professional standards in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention plans effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to collect accurate data
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with behavioral challenges
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of clients
Note: Prior experience as a Behavior Technician or working in the field of ABA is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate a strong interest in working with individuals with special needs.
Position is for every other weekend.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
