Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly children and those with disabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and the ability to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and other professionals to promote positive behavioral changes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to address specific needs of clients.
- Collect and analyze data on patient progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to support the implementation of behavior plans in various settings.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on ABA strategies and techniques.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and data collection.
- Advocate for clients' needs within the community and educational systems.
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Strong skills in patient assessment, applied behavior analysis, and behavioral therapy.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis related to behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- A patient-centered approach with a commitment to improving the quality of life for individuals with behavioral challenges.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
