Required Degree: MS or PhD in psychology, neuroscience, or a related field.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience: The Department of Psychology at Brigham Young University invites applicants of any academic rank to fill a part-time position in the Department of Psychology to begin Fall Semester 2025. The selected candidate will show commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and mentoring. Duties/Expectations: The responsibility of this faculty member is to teach Psych 375 (Cognition). Selected candidates are expected to have the knowledge and ability to teach about fundamental cognitive processes including attention, memory, language, problem-solving, and decision-making. Instruction should emphasize empirical research, theoretical frameworks, and real-world applications of cognitive psychology. Candidates should help students critically engage with the science of human cognition and consider how cognitive principles intersect with faith-informed views of the human experience.
This course will be taught as an Evening Class for the Fall Semester 2025. Class will be held online.
