About Job
This position will conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, participate in the planning and development of educational services for students, provide mental health and social-emotional supports and interventions for students, and consult with parents and school staff to support student learning and social-emotional development. To support student success, School Psychologists will use their skills and knowledge in the areas of consultation, psychological and psychoeducational assessment, academic and social/emotional/behavioral assessment and interventions, mental health supports, counseling, measurement and research, child growth and development, theory and research that affect learning and behavior, program planning and evaluation; effective oral and written communication skills, legal and ethical guidelines for students with disabilities, and effective data-based problem solving skills.
