School Psychologist – K-5 grade

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 3:40 PM (Staff meetings twice/month until 5:00 PM)

Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week

The Elementary School is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our passionate team of educators and specialists. This full-time, on-site role supports students in grades K–5 and plays a vital role in our Educational Life Skills program, which serves students with intellectual disabilities and Autism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
• Support individualized education program (IEP) development
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
• Provide consultation and intervention services
• Contribute to the success of our Educational Life Skills program

Preferred Experience:

• Evaluating and supporting students with intellectual disabilities and Autism
• Working within a diverse elementary school setting
• Knowledge of best practices in inclusive and specialized education
