A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed to provide specialized behavioral services in a K-12 school setting located in Belfast, ME. This contract position offers an opportunity to work 8 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 16 hours depending on budget availability. The role is focused on supporting students through assessment, intervention planning, and collaboration with educational and treatment teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the root causes of challenging behaviors
• Develop and implement Positive Behavioral Support Plans tailored to individual student needs
• Consult regularly with Day Treatment program providers to ensure coordinated care and consistent intervention strategies
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary to promote successful outcomes
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to integrate behavior strategies into the educational environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
