About Job
- Conduct initial addiction and psychiatric admissions and evaluations
- Develop and manage treatment plans for detox and residential patients
- Perform regular rounds on detox patients and occasional rounds on residential patients
- Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments (weekly or bi-weekly)
- Provide medication management and adjustments as needed
- Be available for after-hours on-call support (1-4 calls per month on average)
- Utilize Kipu electronic health record system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- New York state license required
- Familiarity with addiction medicine and psychiatric care essential
- Experience in detox and residential treatment settings preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and facility requirements
