A state-supported living center is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located 30 minutes east of Houston, Texas.
The locum will be treating adult IDD patients in a residential setting. This position in onsite but they will consider 1 day a week of telehealth. There is no call. There will be an average of 10 patients per day. Work involves conducting psychiatric clinics, monitoring trends, diagnosing, and treating SSLC residents with psychotropic medications. The schedule is M-F, 8a 5p with 1-hour lunch break.
