Position Summary:

Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and patient for each procedure. Demonstrates knowledge, etiology, and description of detailed procedures and correlating instrumentation involved with robotic procedures. Stays current with new techniques and mentors the staff. Circulates in cases to assist the surgeon and to mentor new staff to these procedures. Assures that all equipment is available and in working order. Manages the equipment and inventory and is responsible for organizing the cases on a daily basis. Orders supplies as needed to maintain the necessary inventory for each case. Works with management to coordinate cases and staff.

Position Qualification:

• Graduate from an approved nursing educational program as defined by the National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN)

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• Current Florida RN License
• Holds current BLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association
• AORN Certification preferred

Communication Skills:

• Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization

Must clear background and drug test required.
