Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, establishing a welcoming environment that respects diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide individualized outpatient individual and family therapy tailored to the unique needs of each client, guiding them on their path to healing and resilience.
  • Create comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support stable functioning and empower clients in their mental health journey.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance overall client care.
  • Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms promptly, maintaining high professional standards.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and fellow therapists, to provide a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • If applicable, obtain a provisional license per state regulations.
  • Education that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing.
  • A passion for mental health and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
  • A dedication to ongoing professional development in mental health, with free supervision and continuing education opportunities available.
  • A desire to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance the client care experience.
  • A strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Effective time management skills to ensure completion of documentation and administrative tasks.
