A K-12 school district in Belfast, ME, is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support students throughout the academic year (NSY) on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students, families, and educators to gather comprehensive data and provide insightful evaluations and interventions tailored to student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students to identify learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to gather relevant data and develop effective intervention strategies
- Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing challenges impacting academic success
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and monitor student progress regularly
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss findings and recommend appropriate services

- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
