Description

Join a talented team of individuals who serve this country by caring for our Nation’s heroes! Clay Consulting is hiring Psychologists to perform one-time, in-person, Behavioral Health Examinations for veterans and active-duty military personnel.

Summary

At Clay Consulting, you will apply your expertise in evaluating and diagnosing psychological health conditions. As a disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record reviews, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion on whether the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. Your timely and expert examinations ensure that Veterans' claims are properly heard and processed by VBA.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct biopsychosocial exams of claimants
• Perform psychological, developmental, and cognitive-deficit assessments, including test administration and interpretation
• Prepare intake and case summaries; maintain confidential records
• Chart claimants’ treatment and progress according to regulations and standards
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Ph.D., PsyD)
• Graduate of an APA-accredited program
• Active and unrestricted psychologist license in the state
• Knowledge of psychological testing techniques, administration, and interpretation
