Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for clients and families, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Provide personalized outpatient therapy for individuals and families that caters to their unique needs and encourages healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans—aiding clients in maintaining stable functioning and empowering their mental health journeys.
- Engage in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to share your expertise and enhance client care.
- Complete billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorizations punctually, maintaining the highest professional standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for a holistic mental health care approach.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
- Possession of a provisional license as required by state regulations.
- Educational background leading to or already resulting in professional licensing.
- A strong passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuous education.
- Eagerness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.
- Dedicated to ethical practices and confidentiality maintenance.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to establish rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management skills for efficient completion of documentation and administrative tasks.
