The BY YOUR SIDE Lead - BT Support’s primary focus is to support quality objectives by providing therapy coverage when needed to BYS clients while maintaining high standards for clients and families. The Lead - BT Support will also support other clinicians and facilitate support when needed.
The Lead - BT Support operates in a professional and clinical environment. The employee may regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position’s hours vary based on client and business needs. Evening work and overtime may be required.
Compensation: $22-$24/hr based on experience

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities
- Providing ABA therapy to clients without coverage due to additional hours, vacations, or absences
- Supporting the clinical team by being available on the therapy floor to assist with bathroom breaks, materials, transitions, and client needs
- Completing and delegating center projects, including cleaning, organizing, and data entry
- Assisting in onboarding new hires through overlapping sessions and BYS 101
- Maintaining high-quality care for clients and families
- Providing individual therapy under BCBA direction
- Implementing ABA programs as prescribed by BCBA
- Administering assessments like VBMAPP and ABLLS when trained
- Ensuring safety and order in the therapy environment
- Applying behavior management techniques as instructed by BCBA
- Supporting colleagues with related tasks to enhance daily operations
- Participating in staff meetings and training
- Completing daily routines such as opening/closing, cleaning, and organizing
- Collecting data and writing insurance notes after sessions
- Maintaining timely documentation of clinical notes and caseload hours
- Preparing documentation for pre-authorizations, evaluations, and reports
- Upholding BYS core principles, policies, and procedures
- Performing other duties as assigned
Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's preferred
- Internal applicants with 1+ year at BYS preferred
- Comfortable working with various client behaviors
- Interest in working with children on the autism spectrum
- Ability to maintain safety and infection control standards
- Knowledge of sensory and behavior strategies (preferred)
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Quick learner and tech-savvy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
