Job Overview
Children’s Wellness and Development Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team in Jamestown, Rhode Island. This role involves conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults to assess cognitive, learning, memory, executive functioning, visual-motor, academic, emotional, and behavioral functioning. The ideal candidate is committed to helping families better understand their child’s strengths and challenges and enjoys working in a collaborative, child-centered environment.

Duties

  • Administer and interpret a full range of neuropsychological, psychological, and academic assessments
  • Write integrative, strengths-based evaluation reports with practical recommendations for families
  • Conduct feedback sessions with families, providing clear explanations and support
  • Collaborate with therapists, educators, physicians, and other providers as needed
  • Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with professional standards

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Specialized training in pediatric neuropsychological assessment.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals who have developmental disabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • A compassionate approach to patient care and a commitment to improving mental health outcomes.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of learning disorders, ADHD, ASD, anxiety, and mood disorders
  • Experience with school collaboration and IEP/504 planning
  • Familiarity with cross-battery and developmental assessment approaches

Pay: $5,500.00 - $12,950.00 per month
