Behavior Technician (BT) Position Overview: We are looking for caring, driven individuals to become Behavior Technicians in our team. You’ll work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), helping implement customized behavior intervention plans and teaching vital life skills in various environments, such as homes and schools. Behavior Technician (BT) Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) created by the BCBA to address each client’s specific needs and objectives.
  • Deliver one-on-one direct instruction to clients using ABA methods such as discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching, and behavior management strategies.
  • Collect and record data on client behavior and progress using designated methods and tools.
  • Support clients in developing and practicing functional skills across areas like communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
  • Cultivate a positive, engaging learning environment that promotes independence and motivation.
  • Work with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team to assess client progress, adjust plans, and maintain consistency across settings.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, families, and team members, sharing relevant updates and progress reports.
  • Take part in continuous training and development to further enhance ABA skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to accurately follow instructions, implement behavior plans, and collect detailed data.
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility to travel to client locations in homes, schools, or other settings as needed.
  • Dedication to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment.
  • Compassion, patience, and a strong commitment to helping individuals with developmental challenges reach their potential.

Benefits:

$25-$30

Equal Opportunity Employer: We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
