About Job

MAJOR FUNCTION:

Oversees the provision of social work, therapy, and case management services to psychiatric patients, family members and significant others. Assists with oversight of the clinical operations of the behavioral health units in conjunction with the nurse managers. Supervises departmental clinical staff. Serves as the Short Term Care Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

  • Masters in Social Work or other masters level relevant degree.
  • 3-5 years of experience with adult inpatient psychiatry, case management, and social work or clinical skills with patients; management experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:

  • License and clinical certification in social work or its equivalent.
  • Supervisor certification preferred.
  • Welle Certification within 100 days of hire.
