About Your Role
As an ACT Substance Abuse Specialist, you will work with adults living with severe mental illness and/or addiction issues. You will conduct assessments, provide individual and family counseling, case management services, and link clients to community resources, following the treatment plan goals. This position works a team on-call rotation for 1 week every 6-8 weeks and is provided 1 day of PTO for your work/life balance, whether you receive calls or not. We fully equip you through trainings on Initial assessments/evaluations, treatment planning and intervention, documentation, psychopharmacology, reporting regulations for child abuse and neglect, patient rights, and crisis intervention.
Perks Of This Role
Competitive salary: $50,000-60,000- dependent on licensure
Flexible weekly schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm weekdays
Does the following apply to you?
Licensed as an CAC, RAC, LAC, LPC, LSCW, LMFT, MFT, LMSW, or PLPC
2 years’ prior professional experience providing services to persons with serious mental illness
Preferred: professional substance use work experience with this population
