About Job

The Public Safety Outpatient Counselor provides behavioral health services to first responders, focusing on consultation, triage, assessment, and treatment.

  • Locations: 2 in Tempe, 2 in West Phoenix.
  • Responsibilities include managing a full caseload, delivering onsite support like wellness checks and CISM interventions, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care.
  • Requires knowledge of trauma theories, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently and travel as needed.
  • Qualifications include an active license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LAC, Ph.D., Psy.D.), 2+ years of outpatient experience, and valid CPR/First Aid and driver’s license.
  • Must complete training, maintain insurance, background checks, and licensure requirements, including fingerprint clearance.
