About Job

The Child Psychiatrist (MD/DO) evaluates, diagnoses, and treats mental illnesses in children, focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) assessments and management.

  • Performs psychiatric assessments, develops individualized care plans, and implements treatments including psychotherapy, medication, and hospitalization.
  • Supervises physician assistants and team members as appropriate.
  • Prescribes and monitors psychopharmacological medications, maintaining detailed records.
  • Requirements include board certification/eligibility in Adult Psychiatry, 3-5 years of experience, and ASD specialization is a plus.
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation, excellent interpersonal skills, and valid DEA license are necessary.
  • Bilingual skills and a valid driver’s license preferred. Virtual or hybrid work acceptable, with in-person ASD evaluations likely required.
