- Shift schedule is from 3 pm to 3 am with three 12-hour shifts and one adjusted 12-hour shift monthly, alternating between Wednesday- Friday and Thursday-Saturday.
- Travel is required to respond promptly to crisis situations at various locations.
- Provide clinically sound crisis assessments in hospital or office settings, responding quickly to healthcare requests.
- Determine appropriate level of care, assess clients with mental health issues, substance abuse, or suicidal/homicidal behaviors, and coordinate follow-up services.
- Document assessments accurately in electronic medical records, participate in staff meetings, and assist with training new counselors.
- Attend mental health court hearings as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
- Must hold an active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LAC), with at least two years of post-master’s experience, including recent counseling practice.
- Compliance with training, supervision, background checks, and maintaining necessary certifications, auto insurance, and liability coverage is required.
- Must obtain and maintain a Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, TB tests, and renewals prior to expiration.
