Shift schedule is from 3 pm to 3 am with three 12-hour shifts and one adjusted 12-hour shift monthly, alternating between Wednesday- Friday and Thursday-Saturday.
Travel is required to respond promptly to crisis situations at various locations.
Provide clinically sound crisis assessments in hospital or office settings, responding quickly to healthcare requests.
Determine appropriate level of care, assess clients with mental health issues, substance abuse, or suicidal/homicidal behaviors, and coordinate follow-up services.
Document assessments accurately in electronic medical records, participate in staff meetings, and assist with training new counselors.
Attend mental health court hearings as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Must hold an active, unrestricted license (LCSW, LMSW, LPC, or LAC), with at least two years of post-master’s experience, including recent counseling practice.
Compliance with training, supervision, background checks, and maintaining necessary certifications, auto insurance, and liability coverage is required.
Must obtain and maintain a Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card, CPR/First Aid, TB tests, and renewals prior to expiration.
