Heart of the Village is seeking compassionate, dedicated Behavior Technicians (BTs) to join our growing team!

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans as instructed by a BCBA
• Travel between clients' homes and community locations
• Participate in team meetings and receive ongoing training as needed
• Collaborate with families to support generalization of skills and maintain open communication
• Collect accurate data on behaviors and progress toward goals
• Assist BCBAs in the development of treatment plans

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work in-home and community settings
• Commitment to trauma-informed and assent-based care
• Experience working with children, especially those with developmental disabilities, is preferred
• Strong skills in behavior data collection and documentation
• Ability to support and educate families and team members using behavior strategies
• Familiarity with creating and implementing individualized care plans
• Compassionate, patient, and flexible mindset
