Job Title: Behavioral Health Urgent Care Supervisor (LMSW, LPC, LLP)

- Mon–Thurs: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Fri: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Sat: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Urgent Care Supervisor to lead a team delivering urgent behavioral health services to adults and children. This role involves supervising clinical staff, managing care delivery, and collaborating with community partners such as law enforcement, schools, and healthcare providers.
The ideal candidate is a licensed mental health professional with strong leadership skills, crisis intervention experience, and a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise urgent care staff: recruit, onboard, train, and evaluate team members
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision, case consultations, and team debriefings
- Oversee triage, assessment, care coordination, and discharge planning
- Monitor and improve quality of documentation and EHR use
- Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Collaborate with local agencies, including law enforcement, schools, and emergency services
- Conduct debriefings and support services for first responders
- Ensure services are delivered appropriately in-person, via telehealth, or in the community
- Track data for program evaluation and submit required reports
- Handle client concerns and advocate for client rights
- Refer cases to protective services or recipient rights as needed
- Participate in leadership meetings, trainings, and work groups
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure compliance and budgetary goals are met
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications and adhere to professional ethics
- Complete at least 24 hours of job-related training annually
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
- Active LMSW, LPC, or LLP (full license, State of Michigan)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience with children and adults
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and/or substance use disorders
- Eligible for QMHP, QIDP, and QCMHP credentials
- Must obtain Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire
- Must possess or be enrolled in an approved MCBAP CAADC Development Plan within 6 weeks of hire
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to culturally competent and trauma-informed care

Pay: $35.60 - $47.90 per hour
