About Job

At OPCS, we pride ourselves on being a warm, tight-knit, and highly efficient team. Patients regularly compliment how organized our office is and how smooth their experience feels, from their first phone call to post-op care.

We’re sad to be replacing a beloved team member our patients and staff adore, but sometimes a shorter commute in Atlanta wins. That said, we’re looking for someone equally exceptional, someone who brings friendliness, curiosity, and a sense of ownership to their work.

Who We’re Looking For:
You’re outgoing, approachable, and quick on your feet. You’re great with people, detail-oriented, and genuinely care about providing excellent service. If you don’t know the answer, you figure it out or ask the right person. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment where everyone helps each other and all roles intertwine to keep the day flowing.

We’re not just looking for a receptionist, we’re looking for a teammate.

What You’ll Do:

  • Greet and check-in patients
  • Verify insurance, intake forms, and collect necessary documents
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and handle patient check-out
  • Prep charts for clinic and surgery days
  • Manage referrals (incoming, follow-up, and close-outs)
  • Handle faxes, scanning, and incoming mail
  • Send messages and reminders via Klara (our patient communication platform)
  • Stay organized, calm under pressure, and a step ahead of the day

What We Use:

  • Athena (EMR)
  • Klara (text-based patient communication)
  • Microsoft Word + Google Drive
  • RingCentral (phone/fax)
  • Apple Computers

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of medical front office experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and people skills
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new systems
  • Reliable, flexible, and team-minded
  • Strong ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently

Schedule & Benefits:

  • Full-time, Monday through Friday
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Supportive and respectful team culture
  • Competitive pay based on experience
  • Long-term growth potential—we love to keep our employees

If you are passionate about providing excellent customer service and have the necessary skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as a Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator. Bonus points for a cover letter telling us why you’d be a great fit.
