About Job
- Develop and assist with individual behavior management programs for general education and special education students in the classroom, home and or inclusion setting.
- Direct staff training and development on a district PBIS program, MTSS/RTI behavior, and behavior management.
- Provide program/individual staff consultation on design and implementation of FBAs and BIPs.
- Facilitate Team consultation meetings and IEP/ARDS with campus staff.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), ADOS evaluations, Classroom Needs Assessments, and Home Needs Assessments
- Attend meetings, IEP/ARDs and MDRs to provide behavioral guidance
- Engage in social and behavioral elements of the district
- Plan and implement Home Training programs. Provide consultation to parents and Home Training/Behavior Interventionist staff.
- Conduct Home Needs Assessments and draft report to guide Home Training and/or Parent Training recommendations.
- Obtain and analyze data from Home Trainers
- Address district/family questions or concerns regarding social-behavioral characteristics of student
- Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Special Education within the scope of job description.
