Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Services: Provide culturally sensitive assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, crisis counseling, and education.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely client progress records in accordance with established procedures.
  • Treatment Coordination: Collaborate with agency staff and community organizations to address clients' case management needs.
  • Crisis Intervention: Ensure client safety and well-being during crises.
  • Program Development: Contribute to enhancing behavioral health programs within the clinic.
  • Clinical Supervision: Engage in regular supervision to support your professional growth.
  • Compliance: Adhere to clinic policies and professional regulatory standards.
  • Community Outreach: Promote mental health services and awareness in the community.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York.
  • Experience in outpatient behavioral health settings is preferred.
  • Commitment to community behavioral health.
  • Bilingual Spanish is an advantage, but not required.
  • Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
