The Ambulatory Care Coordinator will be available to assist and follow the physician’s and mid-level provider’s orders and assist as necessary in the care of the patient. Responsibilities include obtaining correct demographics, insurance information, scheduling, and registering all patients, as well as utilization management and review. This individual is responsible for promoting patient experience by being courteous and polite to patients and fellow employees. Demonstrates and practices good customer service skills/relations on a daily basis, keeping in mind that this position may be the first face of VBCH the patient/family encounters, helping to create an excellent patient care experience.
