Hospice Social Worker / Volunteer Coordinator (Full-Time)

Schedule: Full-Time
License Required: MSW (Master of Social Work)

We are seeking a compassionate and organized Hospice Social Worker to join our interdisciplinary care team. This full-time position also serves as our Volunteer Coordinator, offering a unique opportunity to make a deep impact in both patient care and community engagement.

Job Description:

• Provide emotional and psychosocial support to patients and families facing end-of-life care.
• Assist with advance directives, community resources, and bereavement support.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and chaplains as part of the hospice team.
• Recruit, train, and manage hospice volunteers to support patients and families.
• Ensure compliance with hospice volunteer program regulations and documentation.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Active licensure in the state of Ohio is required.
• Prior experience in hospice or palliative care preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
