About Job

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Therapist – Per Diem

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (On-site)
Compensation: Competitive per patient/session rate
Job Type: Per Diem (with potential to grow into Part-Time)

About NeuroHealth Treatment Centers:

NeuroHealth is a high-end, boutique outpatient mental health practice based in Fort Lauderdale, specializing in evidence-based and innovative treatments for conditions including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, and more.

We offer a collaborative, clinician-led environment that combines traditional psychiatric care with advanced treatment modalities such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Spravato (esketamine therapy).

Our mission is simple: to help patients feel better, faster—while creating a supportive, flexible, and empowering workplace for our providers.

Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a compassionate, motivated, and board-certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing clinical team on a Per Diem basis. This role is ideal for therapists who want flexibility, autonomy, and a supportive setting without the constraints of full-time hours.

As a Per Diem Therapist, you’ll be compensated per patient/session seen, and as clinical demand increases, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a Part-Time position with a steady caseload.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build or supplement their practice within a respected, progressive outpatient psychiatry clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with patients presenting with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, OCD, and related conditions
  • Create and maintain individualized treatment plans in alignment with patient goals and clinical best practices
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and treatment technicians to coordinate care
  • Maintain clear, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
  • Support patients who may also be receiving TMS or Spravato as part of their treatment plan
  • Participate in case discussions and clinical team meetings as needed

Requirements:

  • Active Florida LCSW license (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)
  • Board Certification as an LCSW in the State of Florida (required)
  • Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience (outpatient preferred)
  • Strong clinical skills in individual therapy using evidence-based approaches (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered approach to care

Compensation:

  • Per-Session Pay (Competitive and based on experience)
  • Steady referrals provided—no need to self-market or find clients
  • Opportunity to increase caseload based on patient demand
  • Potential to transition to Part-Time W2 status within 3–6 months (as clinic needs grow)

Who This Role Is Great For:

  • Licensed clinicians seeking flexible hours without a full-time commitment
  • Therapists interested in cutting-edge psychiatric care and collaborative team environments
  • Clinicians looking to grow a private caseload in a structured outpatient setting
  • LCSWs who value patient-centered care and want to work with a team that supports innovation, compassion, and professionalism

What We Offer:

  • A modern, well-appointed outpatient clinic environment
  • Supportive administrative and clinical staff (no billing, scheduling, or insurance headaches)
  • Access to advanced treatments like TMS and Spravato, and opportunity to collaborate on integrated care plans
  • A steady stream of patients based on your availability
  • Ongoing clinical support and optional training opportunities

Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:

NeuroHealth Treatment Centers is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and equitable space for both patients and providers. We value diverse perspectives and are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
