POSITION SUMMARY:

The Mental Health Clinical Supervisor oversees and guides mental health professionals providing direct care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring quality mental health services and addressing psychological needs. This role involves collaboration with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit to optimize patient care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the point of contact for administrative staff regarding treatment programs and problem resolution.
• Develop and revise policies and procedures for clinical services for inmates.
• Supervise planning and implementation of contracted treatment programs.
• Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Health Services staff.
• Monitor mental health services to ensure timely and professional delivery of care.
• Ensure contracted treatment programs are integrated and properly staffed.
• Support psychiatric staff administratively and assist in recruitment and hiring of clinical staff.
• Coordinate the facility's behavioral health Quality Improvement Program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician capable of assessing, making treatment decisions, and providing mental health treatment.
• At least 2 years of experience supervising a mental health team.
• Must hold one of the following licenses: LPCMH or LCSW.
• Previous experience as a Mental Health Clinician preferred.
