Job Summary
We are growing and are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other behavioral health challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to support patients in achieving their goals.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Collect and analyze data on patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on findings.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent application of behavioral strategies across settings.
- Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
- Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using appropriate medical terminology.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Proven experience in patient care, particularly with children diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with patient assessment methods and data collection processes.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Previous experience in behavioral health settings is preferred but not mandatory.
