We are looking for an After School Counselor to supervise elementary aged campers and make sure they learn and have fun. You’ll be responsible for overseeing their activities. The job duties of a Counselor include planning and playing games, art&crafts, being the coach and referee. Must be 21 or older, be reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Counselor. If you’re patient, energetic and organized, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities or sports for groups of children
• Create activities taking into account children’s age groups and interests
• Lead recreational and educational activities (such as, sports and crafting)

Escort/Drive and oversee children transportation to camp

• Resolve and address behavioral issues
• Make sure all safety rules are followed
• Ensure camp is clean and organized
• Monday through Friday after school hours on school holidays full days
• Background check, first aid and CPR required.

• Proven experience as Counselor or similar role working with children

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
