IMC is seeking to hire a Social Services Director for the new IMC Behavioral Health unit. The Social Services Director acts as a Licensed Mental Health Professional and is an active member of the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assessment and screening, development of clinical impressions and recommendations, treatment planning and reviews, participation in team conferences, intake and referral, provision of individual, group, family, and couples counseling, supervision, and other clinical duties. The director monitors and evaluates the performance of the social services staff (including Activity Therapy) to ensure the quality and appropriateness of social services furnished by the facility.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited university
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR/CPI Certification
• Two years of experience in Behavioral Health preferred
